Can Deborah Landry help me with a project?
Reach out to her and tell her what you need and see. The worst that can happen is she says that she is booked and would not be able to help till next year.
Does Deborah Landry do parties?
Not really. She does experiences, workshops, and happenings. You can book a group experience at her studio and invite friends to celebrate a birthday but at the core of the event is the workshop experience.
How soon do I have to hire deborah?
Deborah creates a calendar a year out. So if you want an event plan ahead of time.
What’s the wait time for a custom work of art?
This depends on what is booked before you and the scope of the request. There is no such thing as emergency artwork. So plan ahead. She is very reasonable and will accommodate where she can. But, be assured she will not take on the stress of someone else’s lack of planning.
Are the prices fair?
Yes! Deborah has worked in art both public, community and fine arts for a lifetime. She is not charging you prices as if she wants to drive a Porsche or wear gold everything. She is charging you prices so she can pay a mortgage and afford food. Artists have all the same needs as you do so be generous as you would want someone to be with you.
Can I hire Deborah Landry as a mentor?
Yes. Depending on what experience and time you are looking for she can create a program for you.

How can a Wall of Art Change my Life?
Have you ever been in a space where you can feel the Chaos? It looks like the household uses bills and coupons as décor. Large calendars on the wall with tons of texture, mail, coupons, photos, cartoons and messages.
Or Have you been in a house that feels like a time capsule, and not in a good way? The household displays everything they own, Everything is a collection and valuable. Or the décor is dated from high school and is only slightly upgraded from the paper posters and flag hanging for a curtain.
When your environment and space is filled to the rim with collections or To-Do debris it is hard to rest. It is important to be mindful of the space you live in, an art filled wall can be a fun way to explore enlightenment. Change can feel magical and fun. Start with a wall and feel the change. It will inspire you to transform all types of aspects of your space and in turn will transform your spirit.
Chaos fills your mind and stagnates your thoughts making it hard to grow and use your imagination. Your space can affect the way you feel about your life and can hamper your productivity.

If you think “I don’t need this because I am not an artist”?
I say think again. Everyone is an artist. Everyone has some type of expression, music, writing, cooking, gardening, home design, biking, or gaming. The point is, you enjoy something, you are good at it or you want to be good at it and life seems to get in the way. Time, naysayers, or confidence stand in your way of doing what makes you happy.
Will this program be like all the others I have taken?
The classes in the program are designed to ensure the art you create is a masterpiece. The way it works is that the design and sketch is created by the artist and you trace it on to your canvas. Then you are given instructions on how to paint it. The paints are beautifully vibrant and very forgiving. The paints are acrylic but we are using them like water colors. They are translucent and they layer and blend without making muddy colors.
Will I have to learn all alone?
Not only are the methods and materials made to be easy. The artist will be available throughout the program for one on one live advice.
What happens after I complete the program?

Can anything be made into a Journey Sculpture?
Can anything be made into a Journey Sculpture?
Short answer Yes, longer answer is, I will work with you to ensure the sculpture I create evokes the memories and feelings you desire. You may want a thing to be included but it doesn’t represent the joy you are looking for. Anything that doesn’t get used will be returned.
Do the Things I have included in the sculpture get destroyed in the process of being included in the sculpture?
No, I secure the items in such a way that they are able to be removed without being damaged. If an Item needs to be altered to be included you will receive a call beforehand to be informed and discuss options. Some items that are heavy might have to be drilled to be attached.
Can I include things that are valuable?
Yes. Items that are valuable will be made so that they are protected from being pulled off the sculpture. The item could be under glass or put in a box. If an item is too big, valuable or just wont fit, there will be an option that a painting can be created to represent the item.
What is the typical price for a custom sculpture?
A sculpture around 24” in any direction will be somewhere in the ballpark of $500 to $1,000. The number and size of the custom paintings will make a big difference in the cost.
How small and How big can a sculpture be?
If your items are small like earrings or watches your sculpture could be between 12” / 16”. If your items are big, let’s just say there are no limits. If your wall can accommodate a sculpture with a skateboard, bike or drum then I can make a sculpture out of them. One thing to consider, is that the other items created for a large sculpture would have to be to similar scale. A skateboard would have a painting at least 15”x30” along with other objects. THe whole sculpture once completed would be about 4’x4’.
Do you have vintage items I can add to my custom sculpture?
Yes. Let me know what your ideas are. If you don’t have items that make you think of a person, tell me about the items. I may have them available or we can locate them.
