The glass cosmos was drawn with colored powdered glass and then fired to create a single sheet of glass. It is transparent and you can see the natural bubbles that form during firing. The needle point is framed in a vintage purse hinge. I have it opened all the way to make a frame. You can see the clasp at the top. The large ceramic tile was created by using real doilies to make impressions. The butterfly is one of my pieces from my collection of small works. The wood came from my scrap pile.
