Tea Memories (SOLD)
This sculpture has a simple and calm design. Your eye lingers at the detail of the tea cup and sees the roses in the porcelain. The cup is so delicate, that using it seems like a scary proposition, in the fear you would break it.
The painting is of a tea cup that was once used by my husband’s great grandmother. And the black and white photo is of my husband’s uncle who was also his Godfather who died as a young man. The fabric and lace behind the tea strainer is the same as the oil painting.
